Emirates Fire After Hit by Shifting Winds

    Emirates jet airliner that skidded along the runway of Dubai Airport and caught fire in the last month affected by changes in wind direction which causes failure when attempting to abort the landing.

    Reports investigation team United Arab Emirates (UAE) issued Tuesday, September 6, 2016 stating preliminary report on the incident on Aug. 3, the UAE federal aviation authorities specify that the pilot was attempting to break up landing after the main wheels of the Boeing 777-300 has touched base.

    Seconds later the plane flew again just to go down and get back to land after the wheel had time to go to the fuselage. The next few seconds the plane caught fire due to shift hundreds of meters.

    A total of 300 passengers and crew were evacuated from the plane that had just arrived from Thiruvananthapuram, India. A total of 14 people were referred to the hospital. A firefighter was killed while trying to extinguish the fire.

    During the incident plane flight number EK-521 exposed to changes in wind direction after the wind from front to back and then began to rise back up to the front, the report said.

    In the report explained that no warnings were issued during these stages.

    The last report will be issued next. The report stated that the main purpose of the investigation was to prevent aircraft accidents. The report is not to blame or defend certain parties.

    Emirates Airline said in a statement the parties authorize the publication of the report and insisted it did not cover up the accident case or issue a final safety recommendations.

    Emirates will study the report carefully and will also conduct rigorous internal investigation in order to proactively review what they know about the accident and to consider measures to improve their operations or procedures.
